But the need for more parks and trails hasn’t gone away. As we have seen this past year, the need and desire for outdoor recreational opportunities have grown. From our award-winning Draper City Fire Department to our phenomenal, nationally recognized Police Department, with its focus on community-based policing. She has served on multiple volunteer boards and service organizations. Her deep investment in the local community led her to want to become more involved. She has a Masters of the Arts in Education and holds degrees as an educator, a literacy specialist, and in school administration. She is licensed in NY, CA, MT, and UT. She has served as a master teacher, run professional development for school districts, and directed Title I intervention programming for at-risk students.
